GOVANNAN has completed chemotherapy (as of August 17, 2010) and has been released to return to the shop as of the end of September. We would like to thank all of you for your well wishes and continued support. Some of the knives shown in these pages are no longer available (items 17, 18, 21, 47, 62, 68, 72, 95, 96, 99, 100, 101, 102, 111 and 119). It may take a little while, but the website will be updated as knew knives are added to the collection. Please feel free to contact us as to the availability of a pictured blade. Govannan knives and swords are made from 1095 high carbon steel, heat treated to a 50-range Rockwell. The guards and pommels are solid steel or brass. The handles are made from ebony or other hardwoods, or Dymonwood, which is an epoxy resin and wood laminate. Prices for knives range from $85 to $150; swords range from $285 to $350.
